when a interface is split into 3 subinterfaces and split horizon is on.

an update is recived though subinterface 1. now split horizon will not allow the data recived though the interface to be sent back out that interface. but will the updat recived on subinterface 1 be sent to subinterfaces 2 and 3? or dose split horizon not allow that? and if so how will the the other interfaces be updated? or dose split horizon know the diffrence between the subinterfaces or see them as diffrent interfaces?

Yes.. Split horizon will come in on S0.1 and let the broadcasts go out on S0.2 S0.3 etc.etc. thats a feature :) The router handles each Subinterface as a logical interface independent of each other.
