I have a Report based off a [To:/From: Enter Parameter] query with a [TypeOfExam] header and footer; the footer gives me a subtotal of the Type of Exams grouped by [JobTitle]. Example below: Exam 1 has a total of 55 individuals. In my Report Footer, I have a Grand Total of 148 Individuals; the control for the Report Footer is: =Sum([SumOfCountOfTypeOfJobTitle]); no problem here. What I am looking for in the Report Footer is to do a Group Total of each Job Title; there are only 3 Job Titles. My first control for Job Title 1 is: =Sum([SumOfCountOfTypeOfJobTitle])=[TypeOfJobTitle]="Job Title 1"

However, the end result is 0. What would be the correct formula for the control so the end result would read 43?

Type of Exam Job Title Number
Exam 1
Job Title 1 = 10; Job Title 2 = 25; Job Title 3 = 20; Subtotal: = 55
Exam 2
Job Title 1 = 25; Job Title 2 = 20;
Subtotal: = 45
Exam 3
Job Title 1 = 8; Job Title 2 = 10; Job Title 3 = 30; Subtotal: = 48

Report Footer Section: Grandtotal: 148

Job Title 1 = 43
Job Title 2 = 55
Job Title 3 = 50

Your help would be greately appreciated. Curtis.....

Try
=Abs(Sum([SumOfCountOfTypeOfJobTitle]*([TypeOfJobTitle]="Job Title 1")))

Thank you very much. Your suggestion worked exactly as I was looking for. I copied and paste the same control for the two other Job Titles and changed the endings to the appropriate text. Thank you again for a quick and professional response. Curtis.....
