Hi everybody. I'm currently using ACCESS and Crystal reports XI.

I created a yearly bar chart that shows the case totals for the following protected group categories: Age, Sex, Ethnicity, Ancestry, Medical condition. The report is good. I was asked if on the same bar chart report, show the a total of the cases that were classified an "A". We have 3 possible classifications, "A","B" & "C". Example: In 2008 we had 100 cases involving "Age". 20 of those cases were "A" classified. If possible I would like to show that value using a stack chart that would show both values, the overall protected group total and the "A" total.

There are two tables I use: Protect_group and Classification. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Select the stacked bar option, and then add Protected Category as your first "on change of" field and add the following formula as your second "on change of" field:

if {table.classification} = "A" then
"A" else
"Total"

Add count of cases as the summary field.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I took a few days off from work. Well LB, again you've come to the rescue. I followed you're suggestion and it works just fine. I can't thank you enough.
