I have two independent forms that work separately. I tried to make one a subform of the other and I am having problems. The first form looks at a query and displays a calculated value. The second form adds entries to a data table. I want to make the first form the header and the second the detail. I have added the second form...and everything looks OK, but when you enter a record and go to the table to look at it, only one of the fields are filled in. The others are left blank.

If you don't want to have a relationship between the two forms ("I have two independent forms that work separately") then right click on the subform control and check the "link child fields" and the "link master fields" to make sure that they are empty.
