Subform Tab Control

Is it possible to create a Tab Control page that will open a different form depending on the information in the main form?

I have a form that lists a particular species based on the selection of a combo box on the previous form. The subform Tab Control has pages for information regarding that species. On the genetics tab page, I would like to be able to change the types of information shown based on the particular species.

How can this be done?

One way to do it would be to have the controls that are on the subform visible based on the species. Is all the information for each species stored in the same table? Then you could do a requery of the subform whenever you update your combobox.
