Hi there,

I'm pulling my hair out...I have a parent form with 2 child subforms (bound to different tables.

I have a cmd button on the parent form that copies specific records from one subform to the other using a
DoCmd.RunSQL "INSERT INTO
line. this works well the values are inserted into the table, but I cannot get the subform to refresh and reflect the changes.

I've tried everything; refresh, recalc, requery with all variations of "Me.", "Forms!" etc. None of the other suggestions that I've found in threads work.(This makes me wonder if I've done something wrong)

Can anyone help please?

Thanks for the response, I've managed to solve the problem using ...

Forms![frminstallationoutlook]![sfrmPartnerCost].Requery

Which is a little strange as I thought I'd tried this at least once already!
(All's well that ends well)
