Subform Not showing up in design view

This may sound stupid, but my subforms are not showing up in design view. And they used to. They look fine in normal view; but not in design view.

They appear as a "white" box; but you can't see any of the elements (fields, labels, etc).

Does that mean there is a problem with my subforms? Or is this some trick that I am not aware of.

You may find this happens when you switch to design view from normal view. Close the form and then look at design view, all should be well.
