I havent used access for years and sure Im probably being thick but cant work out how to do this.

I have a "place new order" form. It has supplier details at the top and then a subform with details for each line item. I want to limit the things that can be ordered from a supplier to items that that supplier sells - I have this info in a table. what is the easiest way to do this ?

Many thanks in hope

Make a query based on the table that contains the supplier and items.

Use the supplier details at top as criteria in the query (use the build option)

Lastly, in code requery this list when the value changes. I have always done this on the After_update event of the control and on current of the form (call the same procedure anyway) but there is a single event that will work that I saw recently... If I recall, the on change event.
