subform does not show in report

Can anyone help....

I have done a report with a subform. The report is fine (shows subform)when there is only one record to display in the report - however, for some reason if there is more than one record in the report then the second record in the report will not show the subform.

Can anyone share some light in this matter - do I need some VB inside the report so that the subform in the report does not disappear.
