Hello,

Does anybody know how counts work within impromptu/transformer

I am trying to generate a measure for the number of accounts or products within a large amount of orders, i.e. customer x bought product y z times and implement this count measure amongst a number of other measures on a cube

I have tried a number of methods but the calculated sums the number of times the customer or product appears to match the number of order lines, i.e. for the customer count if customer x buys product y 10 times the total is 10 and not 1, or if product y is bought 100 times the product count shows 100 and not 1

As anybody got any ideas where I am going wrong

Thanks

Damian.

check these:

distinct?
roll - up?
allocation?

I am running a cube right now, and unable to look at the properties, but check through it all and see what is causing your results, and that should help you resolve it.

good luck,
cp
