Firtsly I hate these things!
I'm using a sub-report as a summary page to a main report. When I inbed the sub-report in the main report and link 3 parameters in the main report (this has 12 parameters in total) to 3 parameters in the sub-report and run the report it works fine.
However if I make any changes to my sub-report, even just adding a text box, and then re-open my main report and run it, I don't get any records. When I do an edit of the sub-report within the main report and look at the Select Expert, I notice that the Select Expert has tried to link my parameter fields on some random database fields, which is why the report doesn't get any records.
The only way I can get round this problem is any time I edit the sub-report, I have to re-insert the sub-report into the main report and the set my sub-report links. This is a far from satisfactory solution. Incidentally I have the Option 'Re-import subreports when Opening Repors' selected
ANY IDEAS AS TO WHAT I'M DOING WRONG OR IS THIS JUST A BUG!?
