Sub Reports Issue

I have a report with 2 sub reports in it. The sub reports are independent of the main report data. The report has 2 parameters and the same parameters are being used for the sub reports.

The first sub report is in report footer A and the second sub report is in report footer B.

Based on the parameters if the main report does not pull up any data the sub reports do NOT run. However if i double click on the sub reports it then runs and brings up data.

The sub reports run fine when the main report has some data to show.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue ? How to solve this issue ?

Any tips / suggestions are appreciated.

If there are now records, a sub won't run. By double clicking on the sub you've in essence have made it an "on demand" subreport. Mike
