Sub Reports and Footer Totals

Hello. I have a report, with a sub report in the detail sections. Works fine, but I need to add group and report totals, and I can not seem to figure out how to refer to the objects in the Sub Report within the group footer section.

I can do the report!blah.bla within details, but not in the footer. What is my malfunction?

Ascii dumb question, get a dumb Ansi

You can add a text box to the same section as the subreport to get the value from the subreport:
Name: txtValFromSub
Control Source: =[srptControlName].[Report].txtCtlOnSub

Then, in the footer of the main report, use

Control Source: =txtValFromSub
