Hi,
I have created a report with 3 subreports using CR9. The layout is as below:
Group header (main report)
Group footer a - sub report 1
group footer b - sub report 2
group footer c - sub report 3
It is fine if the data from the subreports can fit on the same page.
Let say a page can hold 50 lines.
The group header takes 5 lines.
sub report 1 takes 10 lines.
sub report 2 takes another 10 lines. (25 lines remain for sub report 3)
If sub report 3 is less than 25 lines, that OK to fit on the same page. But if subreport 3 contain more than 25 lines, subreport 3 will start from next page. That leads a big gap in between. Is that how CR works? Can that be solved?
Thanks.
P.S. The above numbers just for description of the problem.
