Softwares:
Crystal Report 8.5 with the SQL Server 2000 ....

Problem:
in crystal report im using sub report process ... means joining of two reports in one ... now when ever im place the second report below the first sub report, second report rather then start from the very next line where i placed its actually move to the next page because the data present in the second sub report carrying more space ....

please anyone out there having proper solution against that problem.

Turn off any unnecessary page headers, page footers, group headers, group footers in both subreports.

Make sure NEW PAGE AFTER or NEW PAGE BEFORE is not selected in the section expert for the sections in which you placed the subreports.

(Are both subreports in the same section?)

Select the second subreport->right click->format subreport->common tab->uncheck "Keep object together". Also go to the section expert->section sub is in->uncheck "Keep together".
