I have a report that at the moment shows an Item (Office Desk), and then using a sub-report, shows all the items that are used to create the desk.

My problem is, there is actually an item within the subreport, that also has additional items to construct it. Any idea's how I can have all those items listed below that?

Dear Legend1

Well, you cannot have a subreport within a subreport - but I find that it is often not necessary.

You didn't provide any information that might help give you guidance such as:

Version of Crystal
Database
Tables and Fields and their relationships.
Example Output

However, try doing a left outer join from your "main" table to the "sub-component" table. Group on the Main part # and then group on the Subcomponent part and suppress details. Also, suppress the sub-component group and footer when it is null.

Does that give you the information you are trying to see?

If not, try posting more info.
