Hi,
I have created an on demand sub-report with option “select data in sub report based on field”, This report takes the voucher_id field from the main report (details section) and runs.
I made a room by dragging down details section frame to place a sub-report. I ran it and I see a SubReport_Voucher_id.rpt in the details section and when I click on this report, I can see the appropriate data for that voucher_id details. This means my report and sub-reports are working fine.

My question is that, I don't want to display SubReport_Voucher_id.rpt in my details section. I want to hide this and I want hyperlink on the field voucher_id. I want magnifying glass should appear when mouse goes on top of the voucher_id field and sub-report should run when I click on the field?

How can I do this? pl help.

Using Shared Varaiables, you should be able to pass the hyperlink as a string variables from the subreport to the main report. Does this help?

Remember that the value can only be used in the main-report section below the section that calls the subreport.

I've not used Hyperlinks from Crystal, so I can't help with the rest of your question.
