sub report using the same parms as main

I'm using crystal 8.5 with sql server 2k.
I have a report that is using SQL stored proc with SQL parameters. This currently works fine.
Once I added a sub report I get double the parameters.
I would like to enter one set of parameters which would be used for both the main and sub report.
Is this possible suppressing the values or setting them equal to each other?

You need to change your sub-reports select expert to equal your main reports parameter input (after they have been linked.
