I have a report with 3 sub reports. I would like to be able to choose parameters separately for each report but right now the main report is passing the information to all 3 sub reports. i have removed all sub report links and tried adding different ones and nothing seams to work.

Has anyone seen this happen? any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

Paul

After removing the links individually for each sub, check the record selection formulas in each subreport (report->selection formula->record) and make sure the formulas are using parameters created within the sub (looking like this: {?parm}) and not the linking parameters, which look like this: {?pm-?parm}.

i checked all the parameters in all three sub reports and they are all {?parm} and i get the same result, the main page is still passing all the parameters. Is there anything else that i should check?

Thanks

Paul

In the main report->edit->subreport links, highlight each subreport and remove the links, one at a time. If the links are really all removed, you will be prompted separately for each parm in the subs.
