Sub report not showing all items

Please help

I am running a sub report as part of a report that does not show all items when the report is run. The query on which the sub report is based shows all items and running the sub report individually (not part of the main report) runs okay. Any help would be really appreciated

Are the subreport and section containing the subreport set to Can Grow: Yes?
What happens if you "play" with the values in the Link Master/Child of the subreport control?
