Hi all,
I am using Crystal report 2008, Exporting Main and sub-reports into the one Excel file, Main report is fine but sub-reports appear blank when I am selecting the Suppress option under Format Editor (my sub report is under Page Header section not in detail though).

Basically, I am doing for drill down feature. There is summary in main report and On-Demand user can click any sum number for further detail information. This Suppress function is working on crystal report but export is not working for Excel.

My questions is, If I use Suppress option for sub-report so data can't export it in Excel? Please help me, appreciate that.

Thanks,

You can't use a regular excel export to do what you are trying to do because On Demand subreports don't "translate" into excel exports.

There is at least one 3rd-party desktop Crystal Reports scheduler (see list at that allows you to automate the process of exporting a Crystal report into a nicely formatted Pivot Table. And, of course, pivot tables provide drill-down functionality...

hth,
- Ido

view, export, burst, email, and schedule Crystal Reports.
