Sub-Report date issue

Hi I have a report that has a sub-report, the main report has a date parameter and so does the sub-report. Is there a way I can get the sub-report to use the same date information from the main report? Right now I am inputting the date information twice. I am new to Crystal 2008 and just can't seem to figure this out. Thanks

1. Delete the date parameter from your subreport.

2. Change the subreport links and link to the data parameter in your main report.

The same param should now work for both.

Or you can link the main report parameter to the subreport parameter.

Go to change subreport links,
Drag main parameter into right hand pane

in bottom left had corner there is a drop down box, open and scroll down until you find name of subreport parameter and link them.
