Sub interface on the SE and Apps Server

HI All

Has anyone out there used the Sub interface on the server edition?

Could I use this for example to connect to another Network for IP Phones etc

Configuring a VLAN
Before you begin
Open IP Office Web Manager and navigate to Platform Settings.
About this task
Use this procedure to create a Virtual LAN (VLAN).
Procedure
1. Click Settings > System.
2. In the Network section, in the Network Interface field, click the network interface where you
want to create a VLAN.
3. Click Create Subinterface.
The system displays the Create New Subinterface dialog box.
4. In the VLAN Id field, type the VLAN ID.
The VLAN ID must be an integer between 1 and 4094.
5. Set the IP address and the subnet mask for the VLAN.
Select Use DHCP to assign the IP address and subnet mask for the LAN automatically
using DHCP.
6. Click Create.
