Our office is set up by specific groups of clinican that report to different supervisors. My data looks like this -

Number Appointment Resource Balance
1234 3/21/07 GLR $120
456 3/21/07 JPL $50
001 3/22/07 ASA $75
1214 3/21/07 GLR $150
6570 3/22/07 JPL $90
5210 3/21/07 ASA $145

I want to group by the supervisors (not part of the dataset) and identify the resources with the supervisors
ex:

Sup1 (GLR,JPL)

1234 3/21/07 GLR $120
456 3/21/07 JPL $50
1214 3/21/07 GLR $150
6570 3/22/07 JPL $90

Sup2 (ASA)

5210 3/21/07 ASA $145

Set up a formula like this:

if {table.resource} in ["GLR","JPL"] then
"Sup1" else
if {table.resource} = "ASA" then
"Sup2" else
if //etc.

Then insert a group on this formula. This assumes that the supervisors can be identified by unique resources (that multiple supervisors are not related to the same resources).
