Hello All,

There is something odd that is going on with VPN users and IIS. We have two remote offices and in those two offices users cannot access any website listed under a subdomain i.e. sub1.domain.com, but they can access any other website we have. All sub domains use port 80 and the URL is placed in the header. Has anyone come across anything like this or knows of a solutions or site? You assistance is appreciated.

My suggestion would be to look at the DNS settings on the client's that are not working. The DNS server, that the clients are pointing to, is it hosting the sub domain? Or does it forward requests to the DNS server that is hosting the sub?
It is not really clear on how your VPN is working? Is is a vpn being utilized as a WAN link between two sites or do clients each have a VPN client in which the do Access on Demand when trying to utilize resources from the other site. I'm assuming it's a WAN connection. So, I would also look to see if you are blocking any protocols or ports that would not allow DNS request. i.e. Port 53.
