Hi,

I'm new to financial reporter and am trying to alter an income report.

The report works ok, except it won't show me any sub accounts.
If I choose to print sub accounts seperatly in the print dialog window it's printing them, but in a seperate worksheet obviuosly. Is there a way to show accounts and sub accoutns combined?

The first line of the report goes like this:
Z | D(ACCT) | =FRACCT("ACCTID") | =FRACCT("ACCTDESC") | =FRAMTA("NET1P")

I'm assuming it's just an option I have to add to the report?

Also, is there a manual installed with Financial Reporter? If so could you please advise in which location?

ok. I found the manual under G/L.
I now know that the Z hides all rows with 0.

Could you let me know whether it's just an option I need to add or whether I have to alter the whole report?
Sure it must just be an option to say 'include sub accounts'?

You can probably just edit the one line. Start with that and see what you get. If you have other rows with Z in them then you'll want to remove those as well. The documentation on FR is pretty good for 90% of your reporting needs.

From the GL 5.5 update notice:
FR has been enhanced to include the following:
• Rollup commands in FRAMT, FRAMTA, FRDEBIT, FRCREDIT.
The rollup command has a prefix of R (for example, FRAMT(?RBALP?).
• RD consolidation switch (for rollup account detail) to show only the top?level rollup accounts within the selected range.

Replace D(ACCT) with D to stop consolidating account codes seems to have done the trick.
