We're having issues using style sheets in Quark 6 on OSX. When the hot key is used to apply a style sheet an "x" appears in the dialog box next to the selected style sheet. The user must then Option Click the selection to make the style sheet apply. Is there any way to make the style sheet automatically apply without the extra step?

The + is there so you know that something is different between the Style sheet and the actual paragraph.

That is, the Paragraph may have an Italic word in it and because the style sheet can only have one character style then you will see a +. If you option click on the style sheet, it forces the Paragraph to be the same as the style ie.
it will turn any italics etc to plain or whatever the paragraph has been set to.

if that makes sense?
