I have 500 clients accessing the same page on the same server. On one client machine, none of the style attributes show up. All have same Win2K and all have IE6. Has anyone ever heard of this?

The stylesheet is not embedded, it's linked.

I'm not sure, but I think somewhere deep down in the settings of IE you can tell it to ignore style sheets (or web site settings in general) and always use the settings you specify. You may want to check the setting on the browser.

Hope This Helps!
