Can I use a normalizer tr for the below file structure to route data to different data streams.

This is a fixed width flat file, name xyz.txt

h1 header1
h2 header 2
l1 line data
l1 line data
h2 header 2
l2 line data
l2 line data
h1 header1
h2 header 2
l1 line data
l1 line data

Can I use a normalizer tr to transfer
all header 1 data to a database table,
all header 2 data to be routed to a different database table
all line data should be routed to a different database table using Informatica V6.2

Why do you want to use Normalizer here??? You should look at Router Transformation to check if the first two characters are l1 or h1 or h2 and route the data to different target tables.... That should good work for you... Normalizer Trans is for different purpose all together...
