All,
I'm using "Insert Caption" to add captions to tables and photos (figures) in my document. Then I use cross reference to reference the table or figure throughout the document as I refer to them in text. This all works great, BUT, if I insert a new photo above where I already have photos, and a Figure number, then all the numbers below are not correct. The figures update ok, but the cross references, I have to go to each field, and right click, and select "Update field". Is there a way to update all the fields in the document at the same time? (My doc is 200 pages and 90 reference... pain in the butt to do manually every time I add one.

Best Regards,
Scott

CTRL/A to select the whole document; then, F9 to update all cross references.

Hope that helps.

Ah! The double stroke... that's where I've gone wrong. Cheers!
