What is the difference btw Citrix Metaframe and Windows 2000 Advanced Server in terms of Terminal capabilities !?
Thank you

Citrix Metaframe allows you to "publish" applications, as well as perform data collection on useage rates (to perform bill-back capabilites to depts) vs. just a desktop on MS terminal services.

Citrix MetaFrame also allows you to publish applications to Web pages (via NFuse), to load balance server farms, provides much greater scalability, has clients which run on a far wider variety of clients, is better optimised for low-bandwidth situations, has a wide variety of monitoring and "value-add" tools such as Citrix Secure Gateway (VPN), Access Portal (NFuse Elite), Enhanced System monitoring, analysis, reporting of live and historical data, Billing (Resource Manager), quick Application deployment to multiple servers (Installation Manager), a Universal Printer Driver and printer management capabilities, client drive mapping and clipboard management, Delegated administration of specific parts of the Farm - and those are just the main features.

Maybe I should stop being an Admin and start being a Salesman...* :)

*Definitely NOT! CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
