Stupid @#$@#$@# listboxes

I have a listbox.
If I bind it to the field it shows the values in the list box when displayed.
g is value for grapes, b is value for bananas

Displays on web page:
___________________
Select One or More
grapes
bananas
oranges
g,b
___________________


I don't want the values to show to my users. If I don't bind it to the field, I cannot get it to update the record if they make changes. Am I stuck with this behavior?

Have you tried to append the values for your grapes and bananas to the URL you refer to? You can use dynamic elements there, too, altough it needs a bit of coding...
