Is this error coming from your server? It should give your url or web address right on the page along with the webmaster e-mail address. If not check your logs and see if there are any entries. If they don't show anything then it is a dns problem and not your server configs. Can you get to it by typing localhost in your browser? If yes, then we know that apache is running and that it knows where your DocumentRoot is. If you get "Access Denied" then you can pretty much bet you have a permissions problem. Apache by default sets both user and group to apache but whatever you use, make sure they exist on your system. Check ownership of the dirs and files within apache's reach. If they are set to root, change them or change the permissions to let the world have access to them. Within httpd.conf, you should have permissions set there also to "Allow from all" in your directory containers.

Ok I figure out the 'allow all' bit oops!!

How do I set up ftp access to the server?? Regards
