Hello again...

Just upgraded to Photoshop CS3, from v6. In Photoshop 6, animation was handled via a side application called Image Ready. In installing & opening CS3...I'm not seeing 'Image Ready', or any sort of animation creation program.

So...what happened to 'Image Ready'...what replaced it...& where is it?

Thanks,

Biggy Rat

UPDATE:

Never mind...!!!...I've got CS3 Extended; & just found my 'Animation Palette'.

So now...from within Photoshop Extended...how do I save my multi-layered .psd file as an animated .gif? (as there doesn't seem to be an export option for that function...as ther was in Image Ready).

Thanks,

Biggy Rat

choose...

...file > save for web & devices...

...no problem biggyrat...

...also...

...what happened to you sluggish saving issue, any joy?

Andrew

That sort of went away when I selected my secondary drive as my scratch drive. I haven't done a whole lot of work in huge files since that time, tho...so I geuss I'll have to wait & see if the changes really fixed it completely.

Thanks,

BR
