When I try to make or receive a call via a Softphone an error message pops up, "sx80lc.ini file was not found", "Please contact elemedia at
I uninstalled Phonemanager, deleted everying thing I could find "Avaya" related in the registry and reinstalled...same result.
 
I beleive that i had the same problem. I'm not sure where i found the file, because i cant search it on google. I have it though, if you would like me to send it to you e-mail me at scott.orkin@arkhon.com
 
I should have mentioned...the file is in the Phone Manager directory.
 
Sounds like part of the skin is missing. Try loading another skin or installing on another PC and copying the directories across.
 
I had the same problem today. Simple delete the profile folder and restart the phonemanager. Solved my problem.

Do you mean the the Windows User Profile Folder?

Or is there a profile folder for Phone Manager, if so where is it?

My documents\Avaya\IP 400\PhoneManager\Profile

 
I get the same error using IP Agent 5. I don't have a My documents\Avaya\IP 400\PhoneManager\Profile folder! Where do I find the profile for IP Agent 5?

...or the sx80lc.ini file?

Do a search

Ask someone to help you with windows profiles

A start... C:\Documents and Settings\Whateveruser\My documents ...etc
