StuffIt Expander Question

I am new to Macs and their software like StuffIt. I have these files that are compressed with it that I need to expand. Some of the file extentions are *.sit.1 and so forth. Also their is a file extention of .par and .p01 and so forth. How the devil do I open this files. I have the demo version of StuffIt Expander, but it seems to have no idea how to open it.

Stuffit it very similar to winzip or winrar. All you need to do is drag the first segment on top of stuffit expander and it will uncompress and rejoin the segments.

Ok I add .sit.1 in stuffit and it says that it is a file type that stuffit can not recognize.

Dredd any chance your stuffit Expander is not the most recent? 7.01 is current

I was able to figure out the sit.1 stuff... but also included with those was a .par and .p01 and .p02 What do I do with those files?
