Hello,

While preparing for Cisco BSCI, I developed a time-saving method for remembering the EIGRP K-values:

Ready....

Decimal value of 160

Its very easy to remember the EIGRP default K-values with 160 because....

160 in binary is 10100

1 0 1 0 0
===============
K1 K2 K3 K4 K5

Let me know if you think this is helpful... I know I can remember the K values now rather quickly versus having to recall a table that do not use that frequently.

Nice,

I just remembered that K1 and K3 was 1 and the rest were 0`s ;)

Hi Actually,

Doesnt 10100 = 20 in Decimal
10100000 = 160 in Binary...

Good spot LEEroy

Unless Rainman is assuming that we all know something.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

No you are right, it's 20! I'm so sorry lol. It was late and I wasn't thinking binary properly.

Decimal value of 20 not 160. Now i feel like an idiot.
