Student user requires Auth Code

I have built an MSI package and rolled it out on to the network, as an admin user its fine but when a user logs on to use the program it asks them for the product key. i know there's a 'hack' by copying one student user NTUSER.DAT file who has entered the code, to the local machines C:\, however this a very unconvetional method and i'm unsure of the future ramifictions this may pose.

is it possible to copy the registry file and create a batch file? please be detailed as i don't have a great knowledge of the registry, thanks in advance guys!

Copying NTUSER.DAT is a serious mistake.
