There are lot's of books which can help you to learn all of it in a few days if you have a little experience in other languages. If you are going to work on an IBM mainframe for example the book 'COBOL from micro to mainframe' from Grauer - Villar / Prentice Hall is a good one, it includes even the CA-REALIA classroom cobol compiler.
