Hi,
I'v got a blank PC, a DOS 6 'live' disk and a Win 95 disk that doesn't boot automaticly.
When i was trying to install 95 I tried to do it through the DOS, using S:\setup.exe (where this is the installer)

I am then promped if i want to continue with the routine check, i press enter and it intializes, but it then tells me it requries 7340032 bytes on my C: drive.

when I use fdisk and I display the part. info. it tells me
Code:
Current fixed disk drive: 1

Partition Status Type Volume label; Mbytes
C: 1 A PRI DOS 2047

System Usage
UNKNOWN 25%

Total disk space is 8033 Mbytes

I have 2 CD drives, one for DOS one for win insall. When i boot the DOS system it tells me
Code:
Drive R: = Drive BANANA unit 0
Drive s: = Drive BANANA unit 1
if I use dir C: it tells me
Code:
Invalid media type reading drive C

I hope you can help :)

Try

Format C:

Looks like its not properly formatted or has a format Win95 cannot identify. When its done then you can run setup.exe again.

Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.
