every morning I have to reboot my server as the scheduled backup job from the night before will not release. It is at 99% completion, the tape has ejected and there are no error messages. The history log file says everything has been completed. I have tried to just cancel the job but after three days it was still there. I have left the "still running at 99%" job to finish but after a week I gave up. I am running Veritas 10.0 with no updates. Any ideas?

There are no Alert notifications to request a new tape, but just in case this was the case I have already tried putting in a new tape but this makes no difference at all. The job stays at 99% and the report history records that all the tasks in the are complete and verified.
