Hello,
Last December we removed our NEC IPS2000 and installed a ShoreTel system. We are a medical facility and have several dept's and clinics that require a main number (ext) and then 2 rollover lines. In the old days we called this a "square" setup. This worked well with the NEC. The ShoreTel vendor said they could duplicate this with BCA's. It basically works except that a BCA line will get stuck on hold, it will flash orange and will not go away, if you select the stuck line the display will briefly state the ext that it is apparently stuck with and also say "action not permitted". Our vendor has no idea why this is happening, they can clear a stuck BCA by either re-booting a switch or moving the BCA to another switch and then moving it back to the original switch. They recently upgraded our software to the latest version (14.219.47.3501.0) thinking this might solve the problem but it did not. Does anybody out there have any thoughts on this ??? I will be happy to provide any additional details or info.
Thanks, Jim
