STSe and programming

I am new to the STSe and need to do some programming knowledge and some better understanding of the STSe, do I program from the phones for ringing and system stuff, or do I do it from a laptop? Also how do I tell if a system comes with a 2 port single line telephone card? I have read some sites that say it comes with it and some dont say that it does. Is there a manual for programming that I can download?

You can program the phone system either way, and it comes with 2 single line ports on the side of the ksu.
