So we have an old Starplus STS with an in-skin Vmail. I attempted to enable auto-attendant about a year or so ago and worked like a charm. Had a menu system like such:
If you know your parties extension press 1-
If you want company info press 2-..
etc..
Problem was...what happened if they did not press any buttons. After I think it was 3 loops it drops to the vmail prompt saying "Do you have a mailbox on this system" type thing.
So question is, is there a way to forward call to vmail if caller does not press 1,2 etc..?
I called vodavi on it awhile back and after speaking with two support guys they indicated this was not possible but I was not too confident on their abilites. I don't think they understood the problem very well. Anyhow, I assumed this was a feature of the better vmail system and dropped it but now would like to get it working again.
Any hints would be greatly full. Thanks much!!
