Stripping HTML Tags

I have Report Studio 8.4 ... I'm pulling in a field from a sql server database that has html tags. Does anyone know a function I can use in Report Studio to strip out the html tags?
I've tried using replace([field],'<%>','') but that is not working.
Thanks!!!
