Striping

You can find using the command lslv (lvname)...there you can see striped size if the LV is striped.
 
As my friend xyz is saying.

No it doesn't have to be unless you specify the stirp size in the mklv

  4. When creating a striped logical volume using the -S flag, you must specify
     two or more physical volumes or use the -u flag.
  5. When creating a striped logical volume, the number of partitions must be an
     even multiple of the striping width.

you can view how the Physical Partitions are setup on the LV by using
lslv -m $lvname |pg
Its a bit of long way round but allows you to see how the lv is setup over the disks.
