Hope someone can help...
I have several Crystal Reports that were written about 3 years ago using an Oracle 9 ODBC driver. Since that time, the PC I developed the reports on was replaced, and now the users' PC has been replaced too. When we installed the reports back on the new PC, they won't run because the proper ODBC driver is not present.
We are having huge problems trying to get a driver that will work installed. Oracle's installer program won't give us a diver installation that will run, the connection creation process crashes as soon as you select a driver.
I still have the old user PC with the driver on it -- is there any way to strip it out of the old machine and install it on the new one? Some software or process I can follow that will do this? I'm not looking forward to having to re-rwite all these reports (25 or more) if I have to change the driver.
Please help!
