Trying to have no toll dialing between 2 LD buildings. The other building is going to be sending me 123-456-7890 over the SIP trunk, once it gets here I need to strip the 123-456 and just pass the 7890 to the extension 7890 so it rings the phone. Where do I set the stripping of the incoming digits on my SIP trunk. I know where to do it on the outgoing.

Probably best to do a translation rule on the gateway.

rule 1 /^.*\(....\)/ /\1/ will take any number and make it the last 4.

voice translation-profile testprofile
translate calling 1

Then add translation-profile incoming testprofile to the incoming dial peer for those calls.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went ahead made a route pattern to strip everything but the last 4 and that seemed to work.
