Strip (. and €) from a value to perform search

how can i strip a numeric value from (. and €) caracteres in order to perform a search.
if i use the value 3.00€ a error appears, i need to strip that value to 3, but i will have a problem with 3,56 €.

i´m open to any ideas

You can use the Replace() function to remove certain characters from strings, e.g.

Replace("3,56€","€","&quot will return "3,56"
