String value

if I have a string and a TTreeNode that has the value TreeView.Items[0]. How do I make the string have the value of the TTreeNode. I tried:

Node := MyNode;

where Node is a string and MyNode is a TTreeNode that has the value of TreeView.Item[0]. But this doesn't work. Anybody??

Node := MyNode.Text should do it!
